West Virginia State University is a 4-year public institution founded in 1891. WVSU offers certificates, Bachelor's and Master's degrees. The student population is 3,638 (3,502 undergraduate). There is no scholarship application deadline. Completed applications will be reviewed as received, and scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
Special Requirements:
Applicants must intend to major in one of the following: students majoring in the university's four agriculture-related degree programs: B.S. in Biology - Option in Plant and Soil Science; B.S. in Chemistry - Option in Applied Chemistry; B.S. in Business Administration - Concentration in Agribusiness; and B.A. in Economics - Concentration in Agricultural Economics.

Detailed renewal requirements are provided in the college contract when the recipient is awarded the scholarship.
