The FOSSI scholarship is made possible through a partnership between the HBCU Week Foundation, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), the American Chemistry Council, and Chemours. Its main goal is to increase diversity in the STEM workforce by giving scholarships to students studying STEM subjects at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). It also helps these students find internships, receive leadership training, and access mentorship programs offered by partner companies.

What is the HBCU Week Foundation?

HBCU Week's purpose is to inspire high school students to attend HBCUs, offer scholarships for their education, and establish a pathway for them to transition from college to careers in corporate America.
