Clark Atlanta University, located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, is a unique institution with a history that began in 1988 through the consolidation of two historic institutions: Clark College (founded in 1869) and Atlanta University (founded in 1865). This merger created a new entity that combined the strengths and traditions of both schools, making Clark Atlanta University one of the largest historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the nation. Today, the university boasts an enrollment of approximately 4,000 students and offers a wide array of academic programs, including Bachelor's, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees, as well as Postbaccalaureate and Post-masters certificates.
